Yes, all PSG Eyewear prescription safety glasses are Certified to current Australian Standard, AS/NZS 1337.6

Independent product certification ensures that a product meets all the requirements of the standard through a process of product testing, ongoing batch testing and biannual audits.

PSG also manufactures safety eyewear Compliant to the Standard

Compliance means that the product fully adheres to the requirements of the Standard. However, this product range is not tested by a third party. Compliance for PSG means the glasses are still made in the same Certified manufacturing laboratory using the same processes, however the item may simply fall outside of prescription ranges of certification.

Yes, PSG prescription safety glasses are specifically designed and manufactured to provide excellent eye protection. PSG offers a wide range of models including those with integrated side shields all the way to the bottom of the frame front, wrap around designs and foam backed designs that help shield from particles, dust, debris and other workplace hazards from multiple angles; front, top and sides.

If your safety glasses are damaged at work such as receiving a significant impact, being crushed, presenting with any cracks, deep scratches or structural damage, they have done their job and must be replaced as we can no longer be confident that the structural integrity of the product is still fit for the purpose it was designed and will still protect in the manner they were intended

Any alteration, including the removal of fixed side shields or modification outside normal facial fitting adjustments, will change the level of protection intended by PSG Eyewear and void any warranty or product guarantee.

Yes, PSG's prescription safety glasses can help protect your eyes from dust and airborne particles when the correct frame is selected for your work environment.

For the best protection, we recommend choosing close fitting frames that provide coverage all the way around the eye (top, side and front coverage). For dusty environments, foam backed safety frames are often the preferred option as the foam gasket helps significantly reduce the amount of dust and debris that can enter around the edges of the frame.

Because everyone's face shape is different, we also recommend trying on the frame to ensure it provides a secure, comfortable fit and appropriate coverage for your individual needs.
